About

Dr. Carlos Molina joined the Department of Counseling Psychology as adjunct faculty in 2010. He became full-time faculty in 2015 and is the Director and Advisor for the General Masters Program providing advising and supervision of students’ research and graduate thesis. Carlos has taught courses in psychology at the graduate level at Argosy University’s EdD program and Alliant University’s PsyD in Forensic psychology program. Carlos has worked as a clinician in social service agencies, medical clinics and substance abuse treatment facilities. He has a private clinical practice primarily serving monolingual Spanish speaking clients. Carlos earned his BA in Counseling Psychology with a minor in Spanish from Dominican College in 1997 and his Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Dominican University in 2001. Carlos graduated with his EdD from Argosy University in 2006. Carlos has been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (Lic, MFT39668) since 2003. Carlos areas of clinical expertise include assessment and treatment of depression, anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder, addiction and treatment of children who suffer from trauma and ADHD. Carlos’ research interests include Latine immigrant’s mental health stress related to acculturation factors.
