About
Dr. Gigi Gokcek is the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dean of the School of Liberal Arts and Education, and Professor of Political Science. At Dominican, she has taught courses in international relations as well as comparative politics and directed the Honors Program. Dr. Gokcek has published peer-reviewed books and articles in the areas of international security, political development, higher education, active and engaged learning. She was awarded Dominican’s Teacher of the Year in 2012 and is a former chair of the Women's Caucus at the International Studies Association.
