    About

    Marianne Rogoff brings a transdisciplinary perspective to teaching, inspired by 30 years of teaching writing to art and design technology students at California College of the Arts and a recent certificate in Media & Medicine from Harvard Medical School. She is the author of the memoir Silvie's Life, which has been optioned for film and adopted for medical ethics courses, and the story collection Love is Blind in One Eye, with six of those stories nominated for the Pushcart Prize. Her award-winning travel stories have appeared in The Best Travel Writing and The Best Women's Travel Writing, and her short fiction has been a finalist for the Tillie Olsen Short Story Award, Anton Chekhov Prize for Very Short Fiction, Ernest Hemingway Flash Fiction Prize, ScreenCraft’s Cinematic Short Story Award, Narrative Spring Story Contest, Sequestrum Editor’s Reprint Award, and Bath International Novella-in-Flash Award, among others. She has published feature essays and book reviews for The Rumpus, Critical Flame, San Francisco Chronicle, and Bloomsbury Review, among others. Marianne Rogoff teaches in Dominican's MFA in Creative Writing program and the Department of Literature, Language, and Humanities.
