    About

    Michael Pujals received his Masters of Library and Information Science from San Jose State University in 2004. He has worked for the California Research Bureau, California State Library, California State Parks, and Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania and Dominican University of California since 2007. He currently holds the positions of Scholarly Communications Librarian and Academic Technologist. Michael is an advocate for open access publishing, accessibile documents, and open educational resources. In 2014 he established Dominican Scholar; a digital repository showcasing the intellectual output of Dominican University of California. He also leads student and faculty workshops focusing on the use of word processing tools and the production of accessible documents. Mostly recently, Michael led the Zero Textbook Cost Initiative to help faculty transition to the use of open educational resources.
