AmeriCorps Civic Action Fellowship Initiative

The Civic Action Fellows were a freshman cohort that enrolled into Dominican with the obligation to serve for a minimum of 450 hours in the community with Dominican’s community partner organizations that focused on the State-identified priority areas of economic development, education, and health.in their first academic year. The students were concurrently enrolled in complementary academic coursework. The fellows earned a Segal Federal Education Award for their service.
